Three Kittens are up for Adoption

These little cuties are adorable, but remember:  A pet is for Life!  They will grow, get sick now and then, and need your love for their whole lifetimes.

A Redhead is up for Adoption!

This gorgeous cuddly bit of fluff so deserves having a loving, Forever Home.  Are you that special someone, or family, that will welcome him/her into your home, for the rest of his/her life?

Some English tourists who visited recently, met this lovely cat and despite them being total strangers to her, she welcomed them to SOS Animaux, and was very friendly.

Sterilisation Campaign of Companion Animals

Publié dans Neutering Campaigns
There’s always neutering and sterilising to be done!  Simple routine operations, and it doesn’t harm the animals. Here, you can see a bitch having a hysterectomy, and a cat queen having the same.  By the way, it’s a misconception that female cats are better hunters if they’re not spayed: your English translator here has had two female cats, one of whom is still with us.  they’ve both been the most prolific hunters out of all the cats we’ve had, and they were spayed some years ago now.  It’s the same for tomcats: not only is it healthier for cats to be neutered, but their prowess at hunting isn’t affected at all, take it from me!

Our Cattery, as at 21st April

All these beautiful cats are up for adoption, and looking for a loving, Forever Home.  Why not adopt?  It is so rewarding, enhancing the life – or lives – of pets who are dependant on us.  Which is where you come in!

Meet Lili and read about her ….

Raoudha le 14 April 2012 @ 21:34
Publié dans Cats that have now been Adopted, Rescue
This is the lovely Lili.  As you can see, she is slightly handicapped, which may be why she hasn’t got a home.  Many people want “perfection” in a pet, which is mystifying, especially as we humans have imperfections of our own, be they visible or otherwise.
Our English translator has been Mum to a handicapped cat: a 3-legged boy who, only weeks after his amputation following a car accident, was up and around, running and jumping high walls with his brothers and sisters, as if nothing had happened.  Animals adapt to disability more than we give them credit for!
Who can resist those beautiful eyes?  She’s a real little sweetie, longing for that loving, Forever Home.

Again, the Cardboard Boxes …..

Why is it that, time and time again, some of Joe Public seem to think it’s easier to just dump live animals in a cardboard box, and leave it somewhere for these poor innocents to perish?

Mongi is up for Adoption

Raoudha le 12 April 2012 @ 0:14
Publié dans Rescue

This ball of fluff is pictured on the day he was rescued, 12th April.  He was found at Mongi Slim Hospital, and brought in to us by our lovely friend Nadia Chouba.

What a sweetheart he is!  Not only is he a handsome, cuddly boy who loves everybody, but he’s still quite young – no older than 2 years of age.  Are you that special person, or family, he’s searching for, who will love him and give him that loving, Forever Home?

Hope is Adoption

Look at those soulful eyes …… makes you wonder what this little beauty is thinking, doesn’t it.  Whether it’s food, or wondering if there’s a loving, Forever Home waiting …………
If you’re the special person or family that Hope is looking for, please contact us and we’ll tell you more about this gorgeous doggy.
Here’s Hoping!   (Terrible joke, eh!)
