This little sweetheart is still looking for a loving, Forever Home. He’s only 3 and a half months old, so is still a very young man! Handsome, at that!
Remember Foufa, the pregnant cat mentioned the other day, who was rescued in the old Medina, in Sousse? She was in a group of cats in danger of being killed by dogs that were being egged on by their owners, a group of young people.
When her babies are weaned and adopted, Foufa is going to be adopted by the person who rescued her.
(English translator’s note: When I first saw the letters “SC” in the title, or in the French commentary on SOS Animaux, I thought it might be a nickname. Sadly, I was wrong.
What it actually stands for is “Sans Commentaire”, i.e. “Without words”.
This is another such case, for this poor bewildered cat.)
Found like this ……………
Rescued last Saturday, 24th July, from Tunis or, more precisely, Arianna, in the north of Tunis.
His human guardian angel was a very kind man, who rescued him from a rubbish bin.
This bewildered little baby is so beautiful, so soft, so tiny, and was in need of a feline Mum, until Micha took over.
Do you remember Micha, who we’ve mentioned recently? Our feline “Supermum”, who’s fed over 50 kittens herself? She’s taken on the job of feeding this little one as well!
Meet Calina, one very gentle little girl now up for adoption. She’s had her “little girl’s operation” and is only 6 months old.
Rescued by one of our members last week, this little lady was heavily pregnant. She was found in the ancient Medina in Sousse, where some young people were releasing their dogs, and encouraging them to attack and kill cats! It appears that it’s still happening.
This pretty little one gave birth three days ago, to 5 babies.
This little pussycat was rescued by a friend of mine from Mahres; someone had callously thrown him into her garden and just driven off.
This poor little man who’s had such a bad start in life is barely two months old.
Is there that special someone, or family, that could give him the love and good home that he so deserves?
After giving birth last time, as she was abandoned whilst heavily pregnant, this lovely girl has been feeding about 50 – yes, FIFTY! – kittens brought in from the streets. These include kittens abandoned at just a day old, to kittens aged two months. She’s the only female cat here allowed to wander around outside, but she’s done it again! This time she’s had two kittens of her own; one was sadly stillborn, but the other one is happy and healthy; it’s the all-white one in this photo. All the other babes you can see are survivors that came from Tunis today, brought in to us.
Thankfully, SOS Animaux is here to help them all.
Micha, you are what we call a “Supermum”!
In what has now become routine, we received authority to hold another adoption day. Events like this are a huge benefit in PR, in that not only do we meet members of the general public, but we can also talk to all age groups about our aims and work.
Six kittens were adopted on this occasion, and we’d like to thank our members: Hayet Dhifallah, Amel Mahmoudi, Brigitte Dalliez, Ben Mansour, Salima and Houwaida.
Here are the kittens before adoption. Have a happy and healthy life, my little darlings!
Below, here are just a few photos that were taken at this adoption day. The second one shows one young animal lover trying to choose a new friend, under the watchful eye of our friend and member, Brigitte Dalliez.
Brigitte, we are so lucky to have you with us. Your love for animals is wonderful to see.
Also seen in these photos is my young and very dear trainee, Houwaida, who deserves to do well in her ambition to be a vet. She is here to help us, with a heart full of love for the animals.
This beautiful little tortoiseshell girl is looking for a loving, Forever Home. Could you be that special someone, who she’s looking for?
