Cat rescued from an accident just north of Tunis
Looking at the photo above, who could believe that Felix is a happy little cat, from the district of one of our members, who feeds him. He was found injured on Saturday 15th May, in the evening. His jaw was badly injured, his lower teeth were forced back into the gum and he was in a state of shock. After an operation, a big clean-up and 3 days convalescing here, he was taken to his rescuer’s home, to fully recover from his accident.
Here are the photos that she showed us:
He’s pictured above 4 days after the accident.
Above, 6 days afterwards.
Now, 7 days later.
Felix is nearly ready to live a normal life again!
Our member, who spent more than a week caring for him, finally decided that the best thing would be to leave him to roam around the district he knows (Felix is 9 years old and doesn’t like being in a confined space). After 24 hours of exploring his territory, Felix came back this morning, Wednesday 26th May, to eat the food that’s always left for him.
He’s looking a lot better. Good luck, my lovely boy!
Why not think of helping an injured animal. You could save its life and be happy knowing what a difference you made to that animal.
