This sad-looking young boy was brought in today to the SOS Animaux HQ.   He was rescued by our lovely friends Claude Tigari and Margaretta.  He’s been named Charley, and is still a baby – only six months old.

Can you bring happiness back into his short life?

FOLLA HAS LEFT US

Originally rescued from the roof – yes, a ROOF – of a house, our lovely boxer dog girl, Folla, has died of old age.  She’d reached the ripe old age of 16 which, in doggy years, is very old indeed.  In human years, that’s 112 years of age!  Yet, throughout her life with us, she was adorable and very playful; a joy to have around.

Goodbye, my love!  You’re now reunited in Paradise with Dana and Bella; see you again one day.

(English translator’s note: We met this lovely girl in December, 2008.  She bounded up to us, total strangers, wanting a fuss and wanting us to throw a ball or something, for her to retrieve.  She’s typical of the doggy traits whereby if you’re feeling a bit down, she’ll come up to you as if to say “Come on, cheer up! Let’s play!”  Folla will be very much missed.)

On the left, the flyer mentions how to make donations, and of course gives the contact details of SOS Animaux Tunisia.

The middle part mentions “Save a Life”, then underneath: “Adopt a Friend for Life”.  Under that: “Give them the chance to find a home”.

The right-hand bit says “Abandonment is a cruel act”, after which “To abandon = To kill”.
